Data center cleaning
As part of its data center cleaning services, EDP performs cleaning services at variable intervals. The spectrum ranges from one-time cleaning to regular operations and daily maintenance. The frequency of the inserts depends on the required level and flexibly adapts to the degree of contamination.
TÜV Rheinland, BSI, as well as the ECO Association have focused on the topic of “cleanliness” in the data center and have included it in their certification criteria. Leading manufacturers such as EMC, IBM or SUN require compliance with ISO 14644-1 clean room class 8 for the flawless operation of their hardware. Our technicians use special ESD vacuum cleaners of dust class H (EN 60335-2-69) to get to grips with micro-contamination.
